The sea witch Cover Image Book Book

The sea witch

Summary: Two short novels and one short story, originally published between 1999 and 2003. In the title story, The sea witch, a young ensign is posted to a new assignment, as co-pilot on a bomber in the South Pacific; will his reputation as a suicidal risk taker prove to be truth or merely legend? In The 17th day, a WWI pilot confronts a seemingly unavoidable truth: the average life span for an aviator is 17 days, and this is his seventeenth. In Al-Jihad, Julie Giraud, a military pilot, recruits Charlie Dean, a retired sniper, to help her track down the terrorists responsible for her parents' death.
